Ms. Jasion is Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship problems, and grief. She has extensive experience with children and adolescents, and has completed training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) through the University of Pennsylvania while employed at the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) in Philadelphia. As a part of her graduate training, she trained at several area high schools, and has developed skills to effectively work with adolescents and teens. She has also received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Pennsylvania Clincal Placement Criteria (to determine appropriate level of care for those with substance abuse issues), systemic structural family therapy, attachment therapy, and trauma-informed therap
Ms. Jasion’s approach is strengths-based, as she seeks to emphasize the resiliency and internal strengths of her clients. She works to help clients identify and change thought patterns which may be hindering them from achieving their goals, while also tailoring treatment to fit the unique needs of each client. She is passionate about creating a safe space to enable those with whom she works to feel understood, while also empowering them to reach their goals.
