Mrs. Daly is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with adults struggling with substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, codependency, and grief. Mrs. Daly has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and community mental health treating co-occurring disorders. She is very experienced in addressing issues that stem from addiction or dysfunction in the family and has also worked with couples/families. She has specialized training in motivational interviewing and treating other addictive behaviors. Mrs. Daly helps her clients make positive changes to improve their quality of life and relationships, in addition to healing current and past wounds. Mrs. Daly is a certified clinical trauma professional and a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor.

Her approach is warm, authentic, respectful, and nonjudgmental. She comes from a psychodynamic and family systems background and also incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and a range of other therapeutic modalities. She believes everyone has a unique story and therapy should be individualized and tailored to each person’s needs and preferences.

She works collaboratively with clients to not only meet their identified goals, but, to learn more about themselves in the process. While it is important to know what we want going forward, it can be challenging to do that without knowing where we’ve been. She has a deep respect for anyone working toward personal growth and development and is here to walk with you while providing a safe and trusting space.
