Dr. Gonska views therapy as a journey that is led by the participant. As a therapist, Dr. Gonska works toward guiding others through the therapeutic journey by providing a warm, supportive environment. Her style as a therapist is non-judgmental, genuine, and empathetic. Her approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to each person’s unique styles, growth edges, and strengths. Dr. Gonska believes that a collaborative relationship between a therapist and participant is essential to working toward self-growth and wellness. She values the use of research-informed techniques and is versed in various therapeutic modalities. She joins her clients on their therapeutic journey with the ultimate goal of obtaining wellness.

Dr. Gonska is a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical psychology. She has had the opportunity to provide treatment to various populations in different settings, including counseling centers, inpatient hospitals, clinics, correctional centers, and community mental health facilities. She has worked with individuals of diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds, and appreciate the need for treatments uniquely tailored to each individual. She also has experience working with couples in therapy. She attends training and conferences frequently to stay current with empirically validated treatments to ensure that she is providing effective treatment.
